The results are in: For the fourth year in a row, Ironclad has been officially certified as a Great Place to Work! The certification, which is powered by Great Place to Work in partnership with Fortune, required Ironclad employees to respond to 60+ survey questions to anonymously rate the organization, our leadership, our values, and more. The results? An incredible 96% of our employees say we’re a great place to work.
What makes Ironclad a great place to work?
A big part of what makes Ironclad a great place to work is something our founders Jason Boehmig and Cai GoGwilt baked right into the core values of the organization – together, we’re building the company we want to work at. It is our shared commitment. Ironclad takes this principle seriously, and it’s something I could see in action immediately when I joined the company as Chief People Officer earlier this year.
I believe that great places to work are companies with a positive workplace culture where employees can grow and thrive. Ironclad accomplishes this by focusing on our core values: Intent, Empathy, Drive, and Integrity. We have rapidly grown from 100 to 500 employees over the past 2 years and we operationalize these values to help make sure our team feels supported and empowered to tackle new challenges. To us, this isn’t just a certification – it’s also a learning tool to help us continue to prioritize where to invest with regard to our people and culture strategies.
As part of the survey, 96% of Ironclad employees praised the company’s culture, mission, and leadership, a strong step above the national average of 59% of employees at other surveyed companies.
Ironclad survey results also showed:
- 99% say “This is a safe place to work.”
- 99% say “When you join the company, you’re made to feel welcome.”
- 98% say “People care about each other here.”
We’re dedicated to the employee experience
While we are certainly proud of these results, a Great Place to Work Certification isn’t a check-the-box initiative to our team. It’s something that takes ongoing dedication to the employee experience – an official recognition that our own employees value the work they’re doing at the company they’ve created. We believe that it is that dedication that underscores Ironclad as not just a great place to work – but an amazing one.
