I’ve been in legal technology for 30 years now, and we’ve gone from wet signing in folders to e-signing on email. But now we’re at a new horizon called Ironclad Signature.
This button is the call to action for any user. Generally we use this to maybe kick off an NDA or kick off a legal ticket, but now there’s a brand new button. What’s this about? Well, it’s about Signature.
So I’m gonna grab a little fake agreement to sign, and I’m gonna send it out for Signature. But let me start to show you some things that are special about Ironclad.
First of all, what are these two things about? Well, let’s enter in the name of our counterparty and let’s tell Ironclad what kind of contract it is. That data is gonna be great for the repository for searching after the fact. It’s also going to be awesome because we’re gonna expose that context to your executive signers who are super busy. They don’t want to just click on something they want to know, hey, has this been approved? What’s in it?
Down here, this should look familiar. This is where we add the names and emails of whoever is signing it. I’ll send it to my Gmail. We’ll add another signer.
Woah, what’s going on here? This is kinda cool. I can add another counterparty, maybe an internal signer. If it is internal, I don’t have to enter anything. I can just do a search, of course, and find that internal user in our environment. Great. I’ll sign both sides.
Hey, let’s say I want to do it in order. Let’s say I wanna reorder who’s going to sign it, or maybe I don’t care and I just want it in parallel. All of this should look familiar. Typical eSign features.
On the next page, same. What am I doing here? I’m dragging and dropping tags. Okay, so, the first Damon’s gonna sign here. We’ll call him the pink Damon. And over here, got the purple Damon and he’ll sign there.
As you can see, I can reshape my tags, make it any way I want. And of course, I have different tags as well. You get the concept. Alright, that’s it. I’m gonna send it for signature.
Now, this is a straight design experience. I have sent this for Signature outside the context of a workflow. But imagine I’m in a workflow.
Now, I can see everybody who’s approved it. I can include that in a deal summary to the signer. So those busy CEOs and executives who need to sign things know exactly what they’re signing and will sign it in seconds instead of wasting hours or days trying to find out if this thing is approved or if it’s ready to sign.
The other great thing about Ironclad Signature is we’ve got this different role called the signature coordinator. And what’s cool about that is, regardless of who kicked off a process for signature, you can now delegate it to one individual or a team whose job it is to go chase signatures. We’re all busy. We don’t need to go chasing the signatures. So let’s delegate that to somebody else.
Finally, the thing I love about Ironclad Signature is in Workflow Designer. As I am building any of my workflows, I have the sign step. And in that sign step, we have settings where I can design whether something is going to be, let’s say e-signed, let’s say it’s wet signed. Maybe I want it to just be clicked to sign, removing a bunch of steps.
All of that can be configured through conditional rules. I can build a rule. Hey, if it’s in this state, I want it signed this way. If it’s in that country, I want it signed that way.If it’s this over this dollar amount or under etcetera, all of that conditionality is at your fingertips, just like any other workflow rule in Ironclad.
This look interesting to you? It should. It’s the next generation of signature.
If you want to check it out and you’re an existing customer, it’s already live in your environment. Second, if you’re not a customer, what are you waiting for? Go click on that link, go get a demo, check it out, you’ll be glad you did.
