October was a busy month for Ironclad’s community!
We hosted two Community Dinners for in-house counsels at a private home in Venice, and at the historic Sunday House in Austin. In Venice, DJ Daiana spun soul and funk overhead as guests enjoyed a feast in one of the first conventionally constructed LEED Platinum houses in California. For the latter event, most attendees were in town for the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC)’s Annual Meeting. A mix of lawyers representing retail, advertising, and tech companies across the US dined and connected over a delicious menu featuring sous vide jalapeño hangar steak in Austin’s second oldest building, the Sunday House, at the Moonshine Bar & Patio.
Here are some of what our recent guests said about these intimate networking dinners:
“The small nature of the event and the ability to really connect with other attorneys over drinks and dinner. I also really enjoyed that the event was not about the platform itself but about bringing people together.”
“Loved the chance to meet other in house counsel and learn about their backgrounds/current role.”
“It was great, one of the best events I went to at the ACC Conference.”
On Oct. 18, we teamed up with In-House Focus for our Leadership Roundtable featuring Tobias Keller and Jane Kim, partners at Keller Benvenutti. Together, they shared “The Good, Bad, and the Ugly” of navigating bankruptcy with competitors, customers, and vendors. If you missed it, you can view the deck here.
We are offering opportunities to earn CLE on-demand with our friends at Select Counsel. Choose the practice area and mention IRONCLAD to receive 20% off.
