At Ironclad, we know contracting is a team sport: everyone from sales to HR to IT to legal rely on smooth contracting to keep businesses on track. That’s why when we announced our partnership with Salesforce earlier this spring, we knew our best-in-class Salesforce integration was just the tip of the iceberg of the value sales and legal teams would get from their CLM being directly integrated into the leading CRM platform.
Today, we’re excited to announce two powerful new features of our Salesforce integration: Multi-Org Capabilities, which is generally available today, and Two-Way Sync, currently in beta and which will be generally available in Q3.
The unparalleled flexibility of Multi-Org Capabilities
Large companies often operate multiple active Salesforce organizations due to acquisitions, diverse product lines, regional expansions, and other strategic considerations. To empower businesses with the flexibility to support every team that leverages Salesforce, we’re unveiling Multi-Org Capabilities–and becoming the first CLM to do so. With this launch, Sales and IT leaders can now easily connect all of their Salesforce orgs under one unified Ironclad instance. The consolidation not only streamlines setup and workflow management within Ironclad, it also gives users access to a unified dashboard and repository. This means more flexibility, efficiency, and a faster contracting process across the board.
Users can connect all their Salesforce organizations to a single Ironclad account, enabling centralized management of commercial contracts across product lines, geographical regions, and more. Additionally, each org can have its own unique Salesforce configuration.
This means a whole slew of benefits for everyone who touches the contracting process:
- Increased efficiency: Eliminate silos and redundancies by managing contracts from multiple Salesforce organizations within a single, unified platform, reducing administrative overhead and accelerating deal cycles.
- Improved visibility and control: Gain comprehensive visibility into contract data across all Salesforce organizations, enabling better decision-making and risk management.
- Enhanced collaboration: Streamline contract management processes between sales and legal teams, and foster collaboration across multiple Salesforce orgs–allowing legal teams to see all workflows in one place, directly within their Ironclad dashboard.
- Scalability and flexibility: Seamlessly scale contract management capabilities to accommodate organizational growth, acquisitions, and evolving business needs, without the constraints of traditional single-organization integrations.

Automated accuracy with Two-Way Sync
When multiple individuals and teams use the same information across multiple platforms, it’s critical that those platforms accurately reflect updates from those teams across the board. To help keep teams on track, we’re excited to announce a new feature of our Salesforce integration that will launch in July: Two-Way Sync.
Two-Way Sync enables real-time, bi-directional synchronization between Salesforce and Ironclad for in-flight workflows. This update will allow users to view real-time negotiation and contract data directly within Salesforce without logging into a separate tool. With this feature, users can effortlessly map specific attributes and fields between Salesforce and Ironclad, ensuring that data updates made in either platform are automatically reflected in the other one in real time.
Two-Way Sync makes sure data is always in lockstep, no matter where it lives, by giving teams:
- Real-time data sync: Any changes made to mapped fields in Salesforce or Ironclad are instantly reflected in the other platform, ensuring data accuracy and eliminating redundant efforts.
- Increased productivity: By automating data updates across platforms, Two-Way Sync frees up valuable time for legal and sales to focus on more strategic tasks.
Improved data quality: Consistent and accurate data across systems minimizes the risk of errors and ensures stakeholders have access to the most up-to-date information.

Empowering sales, relieving IT, and accelerating businesses
Though we’ve just added these new enhancements, our customers–and our own teams–have been reaping the benefits of Ironclad and the original Salesforce integration for years:
- 56% reduction in negotiation rates
- 4x faster average contracting time
- <5 business days average processing time
As Liat Mendel, Contracts Manager at Hearsay Systems, puts it, “The synchronization of data between Ironclad and Salesforce has significantly reduced manual data entry tasks, allowing me to focus more on strategic contract management activities. With this integration, I can effortlessly access critical contract information directly within Salesforce, empowering me to make informed decisions swiftly.”
Internally, our own legal and sales teams have also saved 66 hours per quarter–and increased their sales order form accuracy rates to 99.7%–with the integration’s robust capabilities and seamless UI. Customers agree that usability is a game changer, with the Head of Revenue, Commercial Operations at APEX Analytix sharing that “Ironclad’s integration with Salesforce is easy and seamless, allowing a beautiful end user experience for our commercial team.” And we know that happy users become frequent users, which is music to IT ears that struggle with driving tool adoption.
With Multi-Org Capabilities live now, and Two-Way Sync just around the corner, we can’t wait to see the new, creative ways teams will use them–and hopefully close some major deals along the way. To leverage the combined power of Salesforce and Ironclad for your contracts, request a demo today.
